Who We Are
All Oldies Radio, originally called Hit 45s, was the only UK 24/7 presenter led internet radio station available when it launched on the 29th March 2016. Devised by Russ Dee, the music format was based around the hits of the 50s, 60s and early 70s.
Russ was, and still is, very keen on offering the highest quality audio and professional broadcasting standards.
We are a station aimed at the 40+ demographic with a female bias. Our music format readjusted and became even more focused when the company All Oldies Radio Limited took control of the station in 2020.
The station name also changed to All Oldies Radio, mainly because the music format incorporates tracks that were never released on a 45rpm record.
Our mission is to provide a brand filled with personality, entertainment and Classic Hits with many surprise Hits that are ignored by other radio stations.
All Oldies Radio Limited also came with a wealth of experienced radio talent to form a Board Of Directors.
Phil Fothergill is our Chairman, Programme Director and a very experienced broadcaster, starting at BBC Radio Brighton. Working at several stations across the UK he was also Programme Director at Chiltern Radio and now hosts early afternoon weekdays.
Lynsey Dolan is an Irish broadcaster, who in her own words, "accidentally stumbled into radio at 16". Her career has taken her through various stations both in news and programme presenting. Lynsey also featured regularly on Virgin Media One's Elaine show.

Paul Gray is one of the few UK DJs to be on the Motown freebies list. Paul worked at the California Ballroom in Dunstable on Friday and Saturday nights and was one the stalwarts in the early to mid 70s and helped the place gain the nickname Soul City. Paul's career has led him to work with some of the Soul Legends, Radio 1 Presenters and now has a syndicated Soul show that is broadcast on several stations in the UK.
